We would like to give a huge thank you to staff and helpers at Ashiana s for making a great night and helping to raise a great amount.

The 21st of July 2015 marks the second anniversary of the fatal crash. On this day we planted a tree in Great Haywood after a friend of the family donated the money to the family and suggested it was spent on a tree in the village where we live. A cherry blossom tree was planted and we hope to watch it grow and that as people pass it, it reminds them of Laura and helps to keep her sparkle alive.
The accident occurred on the A5 where there was no hard shoulder in places, to completely pull a vehicle off the dual carriageway. After recently travelling down this road we observed that the road has been improved and the hard shoulders are being widened and have had gravel added. We hope this prevents any further similar accidents.
The police are continuing the campaign to reduce the number of drivers using the mobile phone whilst driving. The campaign shows just how many people still choose to use their mobile phones whilst behind the wheel.
The Little Laura Woodland Walk took place on Sunday 7th June and raised over £780 on the day with sponsors still coming in. We would like the thank everyone who came to support Little Laura for making the day such a success.

We hope to see you all at the quiz night later in the year and at next years woodland walk!!
On the 21st of November 2014 Little Laura hosted the first Quiz Night. This was a great success raising £1418.69 with a great turnout of people. On the 15th October 2014 RDA Ingestre held a Tinkerbell Tournament in memory of Laura. We would like to say a huge thankyou to Tina and all the RDA helpers who arranged and helped in the event as well as Alpha Drive Engineering Services Limited who sponsored the event and bought the rosettes. We know Laura would have loved the event.
On Friday 12 th September The West Midlands Police, Central Motorway Police and Staffordshire Police Crash Course Team held a press release to start a 2 week campaign from 19th September. I went along to support their campaign, and to raise awareness to the public of the dangers and consequences of using a mobile phone while driving behind the wheel of any vehicle. The police invited various press, newspaper, radio and television to hold interviews and took them out in unmarked police cars onto Birmingham roads to see how many people were using mobile phones behind the wheel, and to stop them.
