Little Laura is a charity raising funds for special needs children in loving memory of Laura.
Laura was tragically killed in a road traffic collision in July 2013 at the age of 20. Laura worked hard and dedicated her working and spare time in caring for disabled children, and has left behind family, friends and colleagues who would like to continue Laura's work through raising funds to support disabled children.
Laura worked full time as a teaching assistant at Marshlands Special School from January 2012 and on Wednesday evenings volunteered at RDA ( riding for the disabled) at Ingestre, since 2010. She had also put her name forward to give rest-bite care to parents with disabled children. Laura showed continued compassion towards others, enjoyed organising her time and sharing her thoughts and creativity on her blog. Laura was continually learning sign language and kept the family amused with her new signing to songs.

This is a video Laura's colleagues posted in loving memory of Laura. Friends called her Tink and Tinkerbell due to her tiny frame and sparkly character. Truly loved by everyone who met her and as you can see had an amazing smile. Please spend a moment to watch.

Laura was warm-hearted, standing at only 5ft tall, size 6 and a size 2 shoe she was delicate and petite. Despite her fairy-like frame we were always aware of her presence. She had a lovely and sparkling personality which lit up any room that she entered.
Laura was girly and loved experimenting with nail art and make-up and expressed this in her blog. She enjoyed going out with friends and spending time with her family.
Although Laura died at the young age of 20, she managed to pack a lot of experiences into an incredibly short space of time. She was not only beautiful with a stunning personality to match, she was incredibly clever and completed A levels in History, English and Psychology whilst also working a part-time job and volunteering at RDA. She then went onto gain an apprenticeship as a teaching assistant to a special needs school. Laura had hoped to continue to learn as she worked aspiring to be a teacher. After becoming engaged last christmas it appeared Laura was on the track for the happily ever after life that she dreamed of.
Laura's unique spirit and her loving nature are amongst the millions of traits we will miss. Her loss has left a huge hole which will never be filled. Its hard to believe that we will never see her beaming smile or hear her bubbly voice again. We hold our memories of Laura close to our hearts and treasure every moment we spent with her.
