April 2018 the Little Laura Committee and friends had a great day at Walton Hall Farm joined along with some of the parents and teachers to have a work party day and help to renovate the farm sheds, fencings and coops
Walton Hall invite parties to have team building days there and it helps the school to upkeep the beautiful grounds and farm.
If you are interesting in helping by having a work party day there please contact Amanda Cameron the Head teacher of Walton Hall School.
We have continued to help and provide supplies such as wood, gravel, fencing and pens to maintain the farm.
We set up an Amazon wish list, items can be purchased and delivered direct to Walton Hall, such as animal feed and bedding.
We are planning another work party day in the Spring 2020.
Work still to be completed: metal cladding on some on the sheds and outdoor classroom. Fix 3 or 4 shed roofs to build a new bigger pig sty and slab and concrete an area for the pig sty. In addition to this we are looking to supply gravel, fence posts for the pig pen, pond pumps x 2 , more posts and rails, breeze blocks, sand and cement, blue peaches and pen hens.
In addition to the farm Walton Hall require further supplies and equipment such as: outdoor play equipment, a gravity bowl, a sensory wall for Key Stage 3 students and 4D sensory equipment.
