On Friday 12 th September The West Midlands Police, Central Motorway Police and Staffordshire Police Crash Course Team held a press release to start a 2 week campaign from 19th September. I went along to support their campaign, and to raise awareness to the public of the dangers and consequences of using a mobile phone while driving behind the wheel of any vehicle. The police invited various press, newspaper, radio and television to hold interviews and took them out in unmarked police cars onto Birmingham roads to see how many people were using mobile phones behind the wheel, and to stop them.
