​On Friday 22nd November 2019 we held our 5th annual quiz night and raised £1600.00, beating previous years.
We would like to say a huge thank you to Diane and Fiona for writing another brilliant quiz, to Colin Noble for being quiz master 2nd year running and to Maggie Rawson for running the refreshments.
Thank you to everyone who came and supported us and to everyone who donated raffle prizes which raised over £800 alone.

Each year Tina who runs the Wednesday evening RDA group that Laura was a member of hosts a Tinkerbell Tournament whereby everyone dresses up in fancy dress and she provides fun games for the children to take part in whilst riding their ponies.
 
This is a great night each year and the children and helpers have awards at the end for best costume and winning team of all the games.   This years theme was 'A  Night at the Movies'. 
 
A huge thank you to Tina and all Laura’s friends from RDA for continuing to remember Laura and support Little Laura charity. This means an awful lot the Laura's family and is a great night of remembering Laura's contribution.

In May 2019 Lisa Thomas (co-founder) was nominated by Diane Griffiths for Citizen of the year (Colwich Parish Council) for the work we have done for Little Laura Charity.  This was a great honour and Colwich Parish Council have pledged to support Little Laura through the coming year.
 
The first project is to hold a music festival which was the idea of the Parish Youth Council.  Little Laura went along to this on the 27th July 19
This was a great night and we look forward to receiving the fantastic amount of money the Parish Council have raised in Feb 2020.

The Fabulous Foottappers raised a wonderful  £1432. We would like to thank Mansfield House for hosting the event free-of-charge and the band for the fantastic music and their time and talents.
A great night was had by all and we plan to repeat this again next year (18th April 2020). We hope to see you all there for a night full of dancing.

Our 4th annual quiz night was held at Colwich and Little Haywood Village Hall on Friday 23rd November.

We had an amazing evening at RDA Tinkerbell Tournament. A MASSIVE THANK YOU to Tina and all of the helpers and riders who make such a huge contribution to the group. This year it was pirate theme and everyone took part dressing up. Tina does so much for the group, planning the games. Arranging the trophy s and best in class sash and prizes for everyone and putting food and drink on, all in character with the theme. I can't express how much this means to see how many wonderful people making such a difference all voluntarily and tinkerbell tournament evening is in loving memory of Laura who loved Wednesday evenings at RDA. Thank you ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Today Lisa and I visited the Rugeley Amazon warehouse where we had a guided tour and then gave a presentation to selected staff.

Amazon Rugeley have donated an initial £5,000 and have pledged to continue to fundraise for the remainder of the year. They have also kindly offered their time to help with planning or work on the farm. 

​We were incredibly grateful for the time they took to show us around and made us feel very welcome. We walked away incredibly motivated after speaking to them and look forward to working with them in the future.
